On the morning of July 19, the Institute of International Finance Education – Academy of Finance participated in the 2025 Admission Preference Selection Fair, organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education – Ministry of Education and Training, held on the campus of Hanoi University of Science and Technology. This important event helps students and parents gain a clear and accurate view to make informed decisions about adjusting their admission preferences appropriately.
In-depth consultation from experts and leaders of leading universities
At the Hanoi venue, the fair gathered 155 consultation booths from major universities and colleges in the northern region such as Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam National University Hanoi, National Economics University, Foreign Trade University, Academy of Finance, and others.
This was an opportunity for parents and students to directly approach university leaders and faculty representatives to receive detailed advice about admission conditions, specific characteristics of fields of study, and employment opportunities after graduation. In addition, students could also talk with senior students to better understand the real learning experiences.

Highlight: The International Joint Training Program DDP
The Institute of International Finance Education – Academy of Finance provides a wealth of useful information about the 2025 admissions for the Dual Degree Programme (DDP) jointly offered by the Academy of Finance and the University of Greenwich (United Kingdom).
Here, candidates and parents receive detailed consultation on admission quotas; admission procedures and requirements; study roadmap, majors and major codes; experience in preparing application documents, scholarships, and final-year study abroad visas; as well as job opportunities in an integrated environment.

According to Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen – Director of the Institute of International Finance Education, the Dual Degree Programme (DDP) is an ideal choice for students who want to access international education right in Vietnam at a reasonable cost. Graduates receive two official Bachelor’s degrees (issued by the Academy of Finance and the University of Greenwich) with global value and are exempted from all 9 F-level modules (F1–F9) in the international professional accounting and auditing certification framework (ACCA).

Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen shared: “This year, universities will not conduct early admissions, so candidates need to set their preferences smartly and suitably according to their ability, scores, favorite majors, and the overall admission landscape.” She also advised candidates to: Narrow down to 3–5 majors or universities; Research admission subject combinations, admission scores, study locations, tuition fees, and career opportunities in advance; Prepare clear and specific questions.
In addition, the DDP 2025 communication ambassadors brought 2007-born students attractive information about a dynamic and creative learning environment with six student clubs at the Institute of International Finance Education. Beyond communication, the DDP ambassadors encouraged candidates: “Don’t hesitate to openly share your real scores. Lecturers and senior students always appreciate your efforts and will advise you closely based on your actual abilities, helping you avoid choosing majors influenced by others.”
