FROM MARCH 31 TO APRIL 16, 2025, THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL EDUCATION, ACADEMY OF FINANCE, SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED 17 GRADUATION INTERNSHIP REPORT DEFENSE SESSIONS FOR 131 FINAL-YEAR DDP STUDENTS.

The four-year journey of dual degrees crystallized in each internship report
Among the 131 internship reports in this round, 100 received an “Excellent” grade (including 9 with a perfect score of 100), and 26 received a “Very Good” grade. These are truly impressive figures, reflecting the diligent efforts of DDP students in their studies as well as the enthusiasm and dedication of the academic advisors – who not only accompanied students throughout their academic journey but also supported and guided them during their internship period at organizations and enterprises.

An unforgettable academic atmosphere
At the beginning of each council session, the Chair introduced the general regulations and spirit of the defense, along with best wishes and encouragement to the students. This helped create a comfortable and enthusiastic atmosphere for the defense.

During the defense sessions, DDP students confidently presented their internship reports and research findings after applying theoretical knowledge into practice. The graduation internship reports of DDP students in the first round of the 2024–2025 academic year were diverse and focused on hot issues ranging from Banking and Finance to Accounting and Auditing. Topics included financial analysis at enterprises, internal control, conversion of financial statements from Vietnamese Accounting Standards to IFRS, applications of AI and blockchain in finance and auditing, etc.
In addition to traditional internship topics, several reports boldly addressed current urgent issues such as how AI could lead to staff reductions in enterprises. This was a highlight of this batch of reports.
After the presentations, all students attentively listened to the constructive academic feedback from the council and gave well-reasoned rebuttals, demonstrating their understanding of the fields they had interned in. Overall, DDP students showed their efforts not only during the defense but throughout their internship and reporting period.

The internship report defense is an opportunity for students to affirm their capabilities and marks the transition from academic study to a new career journey. The council members, with joy and pride, highly appreciated the students’ efforts and achievements.

The internship report defense event attracted not only lecturers but also fellow students. The proud gazes of teachers and friends witnessing the DDPers confidently presenting before the council, and the encouraging applause after each defense, created a warm and meaningful atmosphere.
