(Dan Tri) – The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) will use a new exam paper template and answer sheet for the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam, different from the 2024 version.

Starting from 2025, candidates for the National High School Graduation Exam will take 4 subjects, including 2 compulsory subjects (literature, mathematics) and 2 elective subjects (chosen from the remaining subjects taught in grade 12: foreign language, history, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, civic education and law, information technology, and technology).

Literature will be in written (essay) format, while the remaining subjects will be in multiple-choice format. The math test will last 90 minutes, and the other subjects will each last 50 minutes.

With changes in exam formats, the 2025 answer sheet template has corresponding updates.

The questions will be divided into 3 sections.

  • Section 1 includes multiple-choice questions with 4 options, one correct answer per question. Each correct answer earns 0.25 points.

  • Section 2 includes true/false multiple-choice questions. Each question has 4 statements, and candidates must choose whether each statement is true or false.

    • If the candidate correctly identifies 1 statement: 0.1 points

    • 2 statements: 0.25 points

    • 3 statements: 0.5 points

    • All 4 statements: 1 point

  • Section 3 includes short-answer multiple-choice questions. Candidates shade the corresponding box with their answer.

    • For math: each correct answer earns 0.5 points

    • For other subjects: each correct answer earns 0.25 points

According to MOET’s guidelines, candidates must keep the answer sheet flat, free of dirt, creases, or tears; fill in all required fields clearly from item 1 to item 8. Candidates must fill in and write their exam number as per the regulations.

In items 7 and 8, in addition to writing the numbers in the boxes, candidates must shade the corresponding round bubbles in the table below according to the digits written.

Candidates should mark their selected answer for each question/sub-question directly on the answer sheet.

The literature subject will be tested in essay format, lasting 120 minutes. The test consists of 2 parts: reading comprehension (4 points) and writing (6 points). The essay paper template used in this year’s exam has a slight adjustment in the score-entry section, but this does not affect the candidates’ work.
