On March 24, 2025, at No. 179 Doi Can, the Institute of International Finance Education – Academy of Finance held a Ceremony to Announce the Decision of the President of the Academy of Finance regarding the appointment of the leadership for the Department of Science and Development of International Finance Education.
Attending the Ceremony, on the part of the Academy of Finance were:
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Thieu – Vice President – Academy; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Le Cuong – Director of Human Resources; Master’s Degree Holder Phan Phuoc Long – Deputy Head of the Management of information systems, Deputy Head of the Department of Financial Informatics and Accounting; Dr. Ha Van Sang – Head of the Department of Financial Informatics and Accounting, Faculty of Management of information systems.
On the part of the Institute of International Finance Education, present were:
Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen – Director of the Institute of International Finance Education, Dr. Nguyen Bich Thuan – Deputy Director of the Institute of International Finance Education, together with staff from the Department of Science and Development of International Finance Education, representatives of the Labor Union, and delegates from various student clubs.
At the beginning of the program, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Le Cuong – Director of Human Resources – announced the decision to reassign and appoint Dr. Nguyen The Anh – Senior Lecturer – Deputy Head of the Department of Statistics and Forecast Analysis with the title of Deputy Head of the Department of Science and Development of International Finance Education.
Speaking at the Announcement Ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Thieu – Vice President of the Academy, on behalf of the Academy’s Leadership Board, congratulated Dr. Nguyen The Anh for being entrusted with the new responsibility and expressed his hope that in the coming period he will continue to work diligently, harness collective intelligence to complete the assigned tasks, and contribute to the overall development of both the Academy and the Institute of International Finance Education.

During his speech at the Ceremony, Dr. Nguyen The Anh expressed his honor and pride in being entrusted with the new assignment by the Party Committee and the Academy’s Board of Directors; he thanked Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Thieu for his guidance and instructions; acknowledged the support and facilitation provided by the leadership of the Faculty of Economic Information Systems; and promised to strive to quickly grasp the practical situation of the new unit, uphold the proud traditions of the Academy, and, together with the leadership of the Institute of International Finance Education, build a united and strong team to accomplish the assigned tasks and contribute to the success of the Academy.

The Ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere, marking an important milestone in the staffing efforts of the Institute of International Finance Education. With a consolidated and enhanced leadership team, the Institute of International Finance Education promises to continue affirming its position as a reputable educational institution, providing “high-quality human resources in economics and finance for the economy”.
