The presence of many reputable companies and speakers
Today’s DDP Career Day 2025 proudly welcomed representatives from leading partner organizations and companies, including: Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank), MB Securities Joint Stock Company (MBS), VNDirect Securities Corporation, Forvis Mazars Vietnam Co., Ltd., Smart Train Academy, and TopCV Vietnam Joint Stock Company.

The Organizing Committee presented appreciation gifts to guests and partner companies.
In addition, the event featured two special speakers: Mr. Vu Duc Hoang—DDP alumnus, ACCA Member, and Deputy Director of Vietnam Finance and Accounting Solutions Co., Ltd.—and Mr. Nguyen Bao Long—Deputy Head of Community Management and Partnerships at TopCV Vietnam.

IIFE leadership presented flowers in appreciation to the speakers.
On behalf of the Institute of International Finance Education (IIFE), the program was honored by the attendance of Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen — Director, and Dr. Nguyen Bich Thuan — Deputy Director, together with the entire staff and a large number of DDP students from multiple cohorts.
Opening message: “Catch the Era.”

Director Trinh Thanh Huyen delivered the opening remarks.
In her opening address, Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen — Director of the Institute of International Finance Education — emphasized: “Catching the era is not merely about seizing opportunities; more importantly, it is about strategic preparation so you are ready when opportunities arrive. In the age of integration and digital transformation, proactiveness is the key for every student to confidently assert themselves.”
Her remarks conveyed a consistent message, affirming that Career Day is an important springboard that helps DDP students more clearly shape their career pathways in a globalized context.

The entire auditorium embraced the “Catch the Era” message.
Talkshow: Knowledge and real-world experience from trailblazers
Right after the opening remarks, the program continued with two talk-show sessions packed with practical value. The first session, “Catch the Era – Master the Ledger: Starting an accounting career in the AI era – Opportunity or challenge,” was presented by Mr. Vu Duc Hoang. Drawing on his journey as an outstanding DDP graduate recruited by KPMG immediately upon graduation—and who, within one year, passed four ACCA P-level papers with an impressive record, ranking 1st in Vietnam and 52nd worldwide—he analyzed the opportunities and challenges brought by AI. He affirmed that while technology can change the tools and even replace many roles, success will ultimately belong to those who master the technology.

Speaker Vu Duc Hoang shares career insights
The talk show captivated students not only through the academic perspectives shared by DDP alumnus Vu Duc Hoang, but also thanks to a highly practical segment on “writing a CV that wins over recruiters” by speaker Nguyen Bao Long—Deputy Head of Community Management and Partnerships at TopCV Vietnam JSC. Drawing on extensive HR experience, he coached DDP students on tips for crafting an impressive CV. Notably, on behalf of TopCV Vietnam, he also presented IIFE with several tools to help students create standout CVs, and he took questions directly, helping DDP students understand how to make a strong impression on employers.

Speaker Nguyen Bao Long guided students on CV-writing skills.
Both talk-show sessions energized DDP students to proactively upskill, embrace challenges, and be ready to keep pace with the era’s rapid changes.

DDP students eagerly joined the Q&A with the speakers.
Networking space: When opportunity knocks
The most dynamic part of Career Day 2025 was the on-site career counseling across seven dedicated zones for participating companies. There, DDP students connected directly with recruiters, explored internship programs, learned about hiring requirements, and gained insights into industry talent trends.

Students engaged directly with recruiters
DDP students participated enthusiastically, turning the advisory zones into a dynamic bridge between knowledge and opportunity. Many gained a clearer sense of direction for their future from these conversations.

Each company’s advisory booth drew large numbers of students.
Through this networking space, many young people not only sought job opportunities but also received useful advice from experts, helping them better understand their own career development paths.
With the standout advantage of graduating with a dual degree from the Academy of Finance and the University of Greenwich (UK), being exempt from nine ACCA papers, along with strong foreign-language proficiency for global integration and excellent soft skills, DDP students are consistently highly regarded by employers for their quality and career prospects.
