The DDP Joint Training Program, in which each side awards a Bachelor’s degree, began admissions in 2016 with a total of nearly 1,000 students. To date, more than 400 students have graduated, including those graduating in the United Kingdom and at the Academy of Finance. The program has guided students to develop into global citizens, given opportunities to maximize their potential—not only with deep knowledge and foreign language proficiency but also strong skills.

DDP is a formal undergraduate program of international standard, uniquely designed with high international integration, jointly developed by two prestigious universities from Vietnam and the United Kingdom, aiming to contribute to the training of high-quality human resources in finance, accounting, and auditing for the economy.

Graduates of the DDP program are proficient in English; they are recognized by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) up to the F9 level within ACCA’s professional accounting and auditing qualification framework. Graduates are capable of taking on positions requiring deep expertise in Finance, Financial Analysis, Financial Management, Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Advisory, etc. The employment rate of graduates exceeds 98%, of which about 10% work in state agencies; about 35% work in the Big Four accounting firms—if including Big Four banks and large corporations/conglomerates, that figure rises to nearly 65%.

Upon graduation, DDP students are not only fully equipped with the knowledge and skills to immediately enter practical work in finance, accounting, and auditing without retraining; they are also completely confident in front of employers due to the advantage of holding simultaneously two reputable formal bachelor’s degrees:
- Bachelor of Finance – Banking awarded by the Academy of Finance.
- Bachelor of Accounting – Finance awarded by the University of Greenwich.
The DDP program is recognized by globally reputable professional bodies in accounting, auditing, and financial advisory such as ACCA, CFA…
- Graduates are exempted from all nine F-level exams (F1 to F9) in the global ACCA qualification framework for accounting and auditing professionals.
- Many DDP alumni, after graduation, have chosen to continue with the P-level exams in their ACCA journey and achieved outstanding results. In the September 2023 exam session, former DDP Cohort 2 student Vu Duc Hoang ranked Top 1 in Vietnam and Top 52 globally with the average score across four P-level subjects. This is a proud achievement that precisely reflects the program’s objective: a high-quality degree opens every door.

Affordable study abroad opportunity

Students have the option to study their final year in the United Kingdom at very reasonable cost; not only do they get to experience one year of life as an international student, but they can also easily find suitable employment immediately upon graduation, opening the door to long-term settlement and work in the United Kingdom in the future.

Only VND 225 million covers the tuition fees for the entire three years in Vietnam, and VND 490 million for one year in the UK, with two prestigious Bachelor’s degrees upon graduation.

Students who choose to study their final year at the Academy of Finance (Vietnam) can also register to receive the Bachelor of Arts in Accounting & Finance from the University of Greenwich (London, United Kingdom).

World-class training program

The DDP joint training program, in which each side awards one Bachelor’s degree, is a formal four-year full-time undergraduate program comprising 127 Vietnamese credits while also satisfying the full 360 UK QCF credits. As early as the second year, students undertake field visits and observational internships at enterprises, corporations, banks, and securities firms. Extracurricular activities, orientation training, soft skills development, and participation in professional clubs are also emphasized in the program.

The English training program is specially designed to build an academic English foundation with courses progressing from basic to advanced, tailored to students’ varying incoming English proficiency levels. To ensure the highest training quality, the program develops a dedicated glossary of technical terms to help students quickly become familiar with and expand their English vocabulary in specialized areas such as finance, banking, taxation, accounting, and auditing. Upon graduation, students reach an IELTS level of 6.0 or higher, fully confident to continue study or research at higher levels or to join multinational corporations and firms after graduation.

5. Attractive scholarships for outstanding students

The International Training Institute has scholarship policies and numerous attractive awards for DDP students to recognize and encourage their academic excellence. In the 2025–2026 academic year, the Institute allocates nearly 1 billion VND with dozens of scholarships for OUTSTANDING DDP students, including:

In 2025, for candidates admitted to Cohort 10 of the program, in addition to the Scholarship for Incoming Valedictorian Freshmen and the Scholarship for Incoming Freshmen with the highest international IELTS certificate, the International Training Institute awards one full-course scholarship worth 300 million VND to a candidate who has won a prize in the national or international excellent student competitions organized or delegated by the Ministry of Education and Training, or to a candidate who achieves 29.0 points or higher in the 2025 high school graduation examination, ranked from highest to lowest. This scholarship is calculated per semester and is maintained in subsequent semesters if academic performance is classified as Excellent (annual GPA of 3.60 or above on a 4.0 scale). This is a special and unprecedented opportunity on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the International Training Institute.
