On the morning of November 20, at Hall 501 & 502 of the Institute of International Finance Education – Academy of Finance, the gathering to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day took place in a solemn, warm, and affectionate atmosphere, filled with gratitude and connection among staff, alumni, and current students of the Institute.

This year’s program was even more special as student competitions in communication, culture, and creative arts were integrated into a series of celebratory events. Among them, three activities—the DDP 2026 Communication Ambassador Search, the “Signature Frame” Design Contest, and the “Stage Craft 2025 – Performing Arts” Competition—became the highlights, creating a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere.

Overview of the gathering program

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen – Director of the Institute of International Finance Education, Dr. Nguyen Bich Thuan – Deputy Director of the Institute, along with all staff and lecturers of the Institute, MSc students, and DDP students from various cohorts.

The program was especially honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Tri Dat – Design Specialist at Vivas (VNPT Group).

A warm gathering space – strengthening the bond between generations of teachers and students

In her opening remarks, Director Trinh Thanh Huyen expressed joy mixed with pleasant surprise as, for the first time, the hall’s tables and chairs were arranged in a rectangular layout at the center, allowing teachers and students to sit closer together and share heartfelt stories. This layout not only created a cozy atmosphere but also conveyed a message of connection – where the distance between generations is narrowed, fostering deeper understanding and companionship.

The spirit of the Great National Solidarity Day blended harmoniously with the event. The Director affirmed that the values of “Unity, unity, great unity” are not only a traditional cultural heritage but also a foundation for building an educational environment rich in sharing at the Institute of International Finance Education. Here, teachers and students do not only meet in classrooms or through work, but stay connected in a spirit of respect, listening, and mutual support throughout their development journey.

Meaningful activities throughout the program

1. Presenting appreciation gifts on Vietnamese Teachers’ Day 20/11 – Heartfelt gratitude in every present

The appreciation segment was the first meaningful activity of the ceremony. Teachers working directly in the Training Office, staff supporting administrative tasks in the General Affairs Office, and the Institute’s leaders were invited to the stage to receive bouquets and small gifts—simple yet filled with love and gratitude from the Institute, from MSc students, DDP cohorts, DDP Clubs, current students, and even alumni across generations.

The faculty of the Institute of International Finance Education beamed with joy as they received small yet meaningful gifts

Each bouquet symbolized sincere gratitude; each gift represented deep respect for the dedicated teachers who have tirelessly contributed to the Institute’s educational mission. The atmosphere in the hall became tender and emotional as teachers smiled happily, receiving warm and heartfelt appreciation from generations of students. It was a beautiful moment—where knowledge, teacher–student affection, and gratitude intertwined to create an unforgettable highlight of this year’s Teachers’ Day celebration.

2. Introducing the DDP 2026 Communication Ambassadors

As part of the series of activities celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, the selection contest for the DDP 2026 Communication Ambassadors attracted the participation of 30 talented DDP students from Cohorts 9 and 10—young individuals showcasing communication abilities, linguistic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.

After two rounds—Knowledge Test and Interview—the candidates confidently demonstrated their abilities, enthusiasm, and creativity as DDP students. The 20 most outstanding contestants officially earned their place in the DDP 2026 Communication Ambassador team.

3. Awarding the winners of the “Signature Frame” Contest – a creative playground for students passionate about art and design

The “Signature Frame” design contest became one of the most significant highlights of the celebration. All submitted works were dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Institute—a journey that, while not long, holds deep meaning and pride. During the award ceremony, contestants had the opportunity for the first time to hear insightful critiques from Mr. Nguyen Tri Dat – Design Specialist at Vivas (VNPT Group). His concise and thoughtful feedback not only offered valuable professional guidance, helping each contestant better understand the artistic value of their work, but also served as a source of encouragement for them to continue nurturing their passion for design.

The final results honored the most outstanding participants: Dang Thu Thao (DDP080103) won First Prize; Le Phuong Trang (DDP0701024) received Second Prize; Hoang Ngoc Ha (DDP0902043) took Third Prize; and Nguyen Minh Anh (DDP0903075) was voted as having the Most Favorite Frame. In addition, seven other contestants received Certificates of Creative Participation.
